Help with keyword searching

You can search the grant schemes, news and help & advice section on the site by entering a word, words or phrase into the Keyword search box

To enter words, click in the box with your mouse and then use your keyboard to type in the term or terms you wish to search on.

You then need to specify whether you wish the search to return schemes containing all of the words you have entered, any of the words you have entered, or the exact phrase. You do this by clicking in the Match drop down box with your mouse and highlighting the way you want to search.

  • If you search on all words, your results will contain all of the words you entered. So if you typed in health education, the results will contain the words health AND education.
  • If you search on any words, your results will contain any of the words you entered. So if you type in health education, the results will include schemes that contain the words health, and also schemes that contain the word education - not only those shemes that mention them both.
  • If you search on exact phrase your results will contain all the words in the exact order you typed them.

Once you have entered the words you wish to search on, you can specify whether you want to view results from grant schemes, news, or help & advice by ticking the relevant button. The search will automatically cover all three, but the one you select will be displayed initially. If you wish to view results from another section, click the tabs at the top of the search results page.
